Very much a family atmosphere with children mingling across age groups and learning from one another. The centre owners adore the kids and strive to make Stepping Stones the richest experience a child could wish for. This isn't daycare, this is your child's education. We are thrilled at our daughter's progress. Her speech, confidence and social skills (manners, empathy, patience, sharing & cooperation to name a few); her creativity, desire to read, sing and join in with others are just some of the areas in which she has leapt forward, in only 9 months! When she first arrived she could not bear to be separated from us; the teachers were so supportive through that transition and since then our daughter is tremendously happy at what she fondly calls 'my kindy'."

"Stepping Stones has a lovely family feel to the centre. It is a home away from home for both of our children. I love being able to leave them there knowing that they will be looked after in a warm, secure and great learning environment. "I have had two children at Stepping Stones. One boy is now at school and his sister is still at Stepping Stones. I can honestly say that I've been really happy with the care Stepping Stones provides. Our eldest just thrived there. When he started he was a bit reluctant to join in but ended up with a great bunch of friends some of whom he still sees even though they are at different schools. He loved running around and doing all the lovely boy things that 3 and 4 year olds love doing. Stepping Stones prepared him for school so well - on his second day at school the teacher even commented that Harry joined in and participated in group activities and she could tell he'd been doing it at preschool and was eager to learn. Our youngest loves it, she has a group of lovely friends and just loves the teachers. All the singing, dancing, paint, mud and sand. She has even sometimes asked to go on the 'mummy days' when she is supposed to be home with me. High praise indeed."

"Both of our boys attended Stepping Stones and they were always keen to go. I was always confident that they were safe and happy there.

What I found most impressive about the teaching team is that they are continuously improving. They frequently seek feedback and try new ways of approaching communication with parents, and engaging the children. Their backyard area is a great example of frequent innovation to cater to the children's different interests and their short attention spans!

I really enjoyed an evening event that a few of the teachers held for parents of the older children. The teachers introduced themselves and talked to us about their approach to planning and executing lessons with the children. And they let us try out some of the exercises - it was good fun and a great way to understand how the learning objectives connect with play.

There are also great additional activities available to the children such as Playball, Yoga and Dance - which both of my children have really enjoyed. I thoroughly recommend Stepping Stones.”
